SATIC hosts a range of key networking events and training opportunities each year which provide networking opportunities and showcase member venues and experiences.
Our training and event opportunities include:
'Talking Tourism' Networking Series
Talking Tourism is a popular networking series hosted across Adelaide and various regions, enabling members to connect while hearing from business leaders and champions of the industry and enjoying canapés, local beer and wine. Talking Tourism networking functions are open to SATIC Members and non-Members.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for venue partners and hosts for Talking Tourism networking functions.
Seminars and Workshops - Training Program
Working with training providers, the SATIC training program is made up of seminars and workshops designed specifically for the needs of tourism businesses to develop skills and knowledge in particular areas. The training program will encompass a broad range of topics and be delivered to operators throughout the State.

South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner
The South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner is recognised as a premier event on the tourism and hospitality calendar, attracting widespread interest from the government, industry, media and public. It recognises and showcases the State's finest tourism products and is a great opportunity to network and celebrate.
The 2014 South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Friday, 14 November 2014 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
SATIC Tourism Conference
The annual Statewide SATIC Tourism Conference facilitates the continuous development of a dynamic, innovative and competitive tourism industry in our State. The conference program promotes best practice across a range of sectors and encourages thought leadership within the industry.
The 2014 SATIC Tourism Conference was held on Thursday, 29 May 2014 at Adelaide Oval. Stay tuned for information on the 2015 Conference.
