What is SATIC?

SATIC is South Australia's peak tourism body, and our role is to engage the tourism industry in all processes that shape our State's tourism future and to bring our diverse industry together.

As an independent, non-government body, SATIC aims to facilitate a positive business environment and to ensure a sustainable future for tourism in South Australia.

Our Mission: To engage, represent, strengthen and empower the South Australian tourism industry.

Our Vision: To be a strong and valued industry body leading a sustainable tourism industry.

Why is being a SATIC member so important?

The tourism industry is a vital part of the State’s economy, generating billions in revenue and employing thousands of South Australians.

However, the sheer number and different types of businesses within the tourism industry is so vast there is a need for a single body to represent and support these businesses. - SATIC's role is to do just that!

SATIC is a non-government, independent body built on member input to represent and further the interests of the industry. We provide a range of support services, resources and assistance to our members including: training, accreditation, certification, awards, networking, communications and information.

If you own a business or are employed in the industry, we encourage you to become a member of SATIC and ensure there is a sustainable future for tourism in South Australia.
