Shaun de Bruyn SATIC General ManagerShaun de Bruyn, General Manager

Shaun comes to SATIC with 15 years of tourism experience and has a deep understanding of tourism and the important role SATIC plays within the industry. His background is diverse, including working in regions assisting operators; destination and experience development; marketing and distribution; government engagement; and strategic planning.



Bianca Borrett, Manager Communications 

(Mon, Wed & Thu)

Bianca is responsible for successfully planning and managing SATIC's corporate communications and online communities, as well as having a special focus on media relations, stakeholder engagement and corporate sponsorship.  Bianca comes to her role with more than 15 years experience in the industry, previously with the South Australian Tourism Commission, in a number of positions including Ministerial Liaison, Public Relations and as the South Australian Tourism Awards Manager.  Bianca has also completed an Advanced Diploma of Tourism with TAFESA and a Bachelor of Management from the University of South Australia. She is also a Member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.


 Jayne Cooney, Manager Industry Programs

Jayne originally hails from the mid north of SA and has been involved in the tourism industry over the past 15 years. She studied at TAFESA and has an Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management. Jayne has worked for the SA Tourism Commission, based in North America, and on her return to Australia became a travel agent in country SA & Horsham, Victoria and has also been a destination specialist for Outback Encounter. Two gorgeous children have kept her busy for the last few years, but she has also assisted local businesses with their Tourism Awards submissions and tourism accreditation during this time.



Anneliese Powell, Manager Events 

Anneliese is responsible for managing all of SATIC’s networking events, training and the state-wide tourism conference, Anneliese also coordinates the South Australian Tourism Awards which highlights the best tourism businesses in the State.  Anneliese comes to SATIC having travelled throughout North America, UK and Europe working for inbound and outbound wholesalers in sales, marketing and product development. In her previous role with the Department of Health, Anneliese has experience in program management and the coordination of educational training for the SA Ambulance Service.  Anneliese also has an Advanced Diploma of Tourism and a Bachelor of Management.
