His background is diverse, including working in regions assisting operators; destination and experience development; marketing and distribution; government engagement; and strategic planning.

Bianca Borrett, Manager Communications

Bianca is responsible for successfully planning and managing SATIC's corporate communications and online communities, as well as having a special focus on media relations, stakeholder engagement and corporate sponsorship. Bianca comes to her role with more than 15 years experience in the industry, previously with the South Australian Tourism Commission, in a number of positions including Ministerial Liaison, Public Relations and as the South Australian Tourism Awards Manager. Bianca has also completed an Advanced Diploma of Tourism with TAFESA and a Bachelor of Management from the University of South Australia.

Anneliese Powell, Manager Events
Anneliese is responsible for membership and managing all of SATIC’s events and training, including the state-wide tourism conference and tourism awards ceremony. Anneliese comes to SATIC having travelled throughout North America, UK and Europe working for inbound and outbound wholesalers in sales, marketing and product development. In her previous role with the Department of Health, Anneliese has experience in program management and the coordination of educational training for the SA Ambulance Service. Anneliese also has an Advanced Diploma of Tourism and a Bachelor of Management.

Emily Sharpe-Hall, Communications & Administrative Officer
Emily is SATIC's Communications & Administrative Officer and supports three key areas of our operations: communications, administration and events. Emily comes to SATIC having just completed a degree in Public Relations with a sub-major in Communication and Media Management. Throughout her three year degree, Emily has had various work experience opportunities within the communications and public relations sector, and has also assisted in the role of administration. The opportunity to study Public Relations and Events in Florence also enabled her to extend her knowledge towards communications and events, and further her passion towards the industry.

Sarah-Jane Couche, Industry Advisor
Sarah-Jane's role within SATIC involves coaching and supporting tourism businesses with their entry into the South Australian Tourism Awards program, as well as assisting with business development, tourism policy, events, workshops and training programs. Sarah-Jane comes to SATIC having completed a degree in International Tourism from Flinders University, alongside various volunteer work within the tourism industry. Sarah-Jane has great knowledge together with a fresh outlook and eagerness in continuing to enhance and grow the tourism industry.
